We were the featured band of the month. We gained new fans from all over the country looking to find our music. And giving us great props. We're looking to have music available on-line by April. Broadening Our Horizons! We're going to be playing The DU House at Colgate University in April to start are Spring off right! And we've been gaining quite the following in Portland Maine. Thanks to our lead singer Douglas Gimbel for spreading the word and getting us opportunities to play The Big Easy. Looks like we'll be spending another Spring and Summer playing all over Maine. The band is also heading back into the studio to record some new music. Spread The Word. HDRnB is an original R&B/soul/groove band founded by in late 2010, featuring Henley Douglas Jr. (sax), Douglas Gimbel (vocals), John Iltis (drums), Eric Reardon (guitar), Squantch (trombone), David Walker (bass). Henley Douglas Jr.'s early career includes stints with the Big Dig Saxophone Quartet and Skin, a Boston-based funk-rock outfit that would open for acts like the Neville Brothers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He founded the Heavy Metal Horns, a band that reached international acclaim in the 90s, and for 10 years, fronted the Boston Horns, a funk/jazz band also featuring HMH alum Garret Savluk.
